Our Punjab da puttar Sunny Deol has turned 51 and is still running strong. The amount of energy levels the actor has can put any young newcomer to shame. A case in point is his 18-hour shoot as producer-director for The Man.
Reveals our source, "Sunny was shooting for 18 hours non-stop recently for his directorial venture The Man at Goa." The Man is Sunny's second directorial venture after Dillagi, and Right Yaaa Wrong Neerraj Pathak is co-directing it.
Sunny it is said is an introvert and shy person does not like being in the limelight. Therefore, he has cautioned his unit members from revealing anything that goes on the sets. Younger brother Bobby Deol also respects his opinion.
Our source further reveals, "Yes, it's true. Sunny has, in fact, warned his unit members not to reveal anything. He's working on every minute detail of the film. He was in full command and so thrilled with this film that he shot for 18 hours a day and that too for non-stop 20 days."
The actor apparently used to sleep only for four to five hours a day, and yet was in full form when it came to direction or his acting.
"He used to explain the final shot of the day so well, it used to be okayed in one take. All the actors from Shilpa Shetty and Kashmera Shah to Anjan Shrivastav and Sudhanshu Pandey enjoyed working for Sunny. There was so much bonding on the sets that the film is almost 35 per cent complete," gushes the source.
