Starcast: Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan, Suresh Menon, Rajpal Yadav, Juhi Chawla, Dia Mirza, Rajat Kapoor.

Director: Jaideep Sen

Krazzy 4 is the story of four patients who are currently admitted in a mental institution. Raja (Arshad Warsi), Dr Mukherji (Irrfan Khan), Gangadhar (Rajpal Yadav) and Daboo (Suresh Menon) suffer from different mental disorders and are currently treated by Dr. Sonali (Juhi Chawla). As a part of their treatment, Dr. Sonali decides to take the four patients for a day out to watch the India – England cricket match.

However, as soon as they step out catastrophe strikes as the doctor is kidnapped leaving the four mental patients to find their way out and rescue their doctor. What happens when they realize that the very people they are turning to for help are the ones behind their doctor’s kidnapping and how they outwit all of them to rescue Dr. Sonali is what Krazzy 4 is all about.

Jaideep Sen’s directorial debut, simply put, is a fun film. It plays on social issues but does it without making it sound like a sermon. The four guys known for their comedy deliver well but Suresh Menon’s character could have been better fleshed out.

Also Dia Mirza’s fascination to play a journalist needs reviewing. And finally the three songs picturised on Rakhi Sawant, SRK and Hrithik Roshan are going to be huge with the audiences! SRK and Hrithik leave you mesmerized with their charm and dance.

All in all Krazzy 4 is a great film to see provided you are looking for a fun day out. It’s light, fun and slightly krazzy4.

Juhi Chawla will be seen in a Rakesh Roshan film again, Krazzy 4, which is scheduled for release April 14.

Her earlier venture with Roshan was in his ill-fated Karobaar in 2000, in which she played Rishi Kapoor's wife who's tempted to spend a night with tycoon Anil Kapoor. The remake of the Robert Redford-Demi Moore film An Indecent Proposal was a fiasco.

"That's because the film got delayed. By the time Karobaar was released, the story was stale. Anyway, Juhi is working with us again," Rakesh Roshan said.

In Krazzy 4, the actress plays a psychiatrist. The film is being directed by Raja Sen.

"Juhi plays a very important role of a psychiatrist. We needed someone mature. While all the guys - Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav, Irrfan Khan and Suresh Menon - are funny, Juhi is very serious," said Rakesh Roshan.

This is Juhi's second role as a shrink in a comedy. She was given the thankless task of curing Govinda's mind in David Dhawan's Deewana Mastana.

Not too many of our leading ladies get to play psychiatrists. Lately, starlet Pinky Harwani starred as a shrink whom the troubled Sammir Dattani was seeing in Vikram Bhatt's Life Mein Kabhi Kabhie.

Almost her entire track was edited out.

The year 2008 could well be actor Arshad Warsi's year. He has signed plum films with filmmakers like Anil Kapoor and Rohit Shetty and has just inked a deal with Rakesh Roshan in which he plays a mad man.

"For the first time I get to play this completely deranged character - a full-on mad man. I've never played a character like this. Why just me? I don't think such a character has been done before," Arshad told IANS.

This would be Rakesh's first film without his son Hrithik in the last seven years.

"In fact, Rakeshji has been with this script for more than 10 years," Arshad says.

Too busy and committed to Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodhaa-Akbar and his father's next superhero film, Hrithik has given this assignment the go-by. It's being directed by Rakesh Roshan's assistant Raja Sen.

This is Roshan's first confident move forward in expanding and corporatising his production house into a multi-filmmaking concern like Yash Raj Films. He intends to concentrate on the projects that would star his son Hrithik and hire other directors for other ventures.

Karan Johar also plans to direct one film a year for his own production house and open it to directors from outside.
