Despite being embroiled in unnecessary controversies with the Bhatts and Ram Gopal Varma, Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series comes out unscathed and keeps the momentum going strong in the music world. Undoubtedly the leader amongst music companies, T-Series has acquired the music of some more big projects set for release in the second half of 2008.
To start with T-Series has acquired the music rights of the much-spoken about remake of Ghajini starring Aamir Khan with Asin, Jiah Khan and Mohit Alawat. The south version had chartbusting tunes and the remake too promises the same.
The other film is Subhash Ghai’s ambitious project Yuvraaj starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor and Zayed Khan in lead roles. Yuvraaj is essentially a musical about three musician brothers and knowing Subhash Ghai’s ear for music, the audio of this film is surely something to look forward to.
While no figures have been disclosed officially, sources inform that the rights have been acquired at
a whopping amount.
