Just two days in Amritsar and King Khan is in love. As all must have already guessed, we are talking about Shahrukh Khan, who is in Amritsar for the past few days, shooting for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Since it's a Yash Raj project, there is a lot of secrecy concerning the story of unquestionably the most awaited movie of the year. And why not? After all, it brings back the director-actor 'jodi' of the iconic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge (still running in its 672nd week in Bombay) and Mohabbatein. Naturally, the moment the unit arrived in Amritsar, there was (and still is), a frenzy, both amongst the media as well as the fans of superstar, Shahrukh Khan, in order to catch a glimpse or have a word with Bollywood's global superstar.

After the initial shooting stint at the famous Golden Temple earlier this week (as has been widely reported in the media), the venue has now shifted. Wednesday saw a traditional Punjabi marriage ceremony (some are saying that it was a 'mehndi' ceremony) taking place at the posh Queen's Road, and the venue was Kapoor Guest House. The whole unit as well as the director, Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra were present for the shooting. The atmosphere was seeped in Punjabi culture (seen in countless Yash Raj super-hits!), complete with girls dancing 'gidda' and boys swinging to 'bhangra', dressed in traditional Punjabi finery and clothing. Once the 'mehndi' ceremony was complete, there was the marriage ceremony. Shahrukh was dressed in traditional Punjabi clothing and accompanying him were the relatives who arrived at the Kapoor Guest House and headed for the place where the marriage ceremony was taking place.

A member of the crew tells us that it is at this ceremony that the 'younger' Shahrukh Khan falls in love with his 'mutiyar' (beautiful, young Punjabi girl), played by model-turned-actress, Anushka Sharma.

As we file this report, the shooting venue has shifted to the famous Khalsa College, but more about that later!

Sanjay Dutt has invited all his close friends to party on a yacht he hired in Bangkok while he is shooting for the movie, Blue, in the middle of the ocean

Sanjay Dutt has hired a 40-foot-long luxury catamaran for his close friends while he shoots for the underwater thriller. Sanjay, who is known for his generous ways, invited his closest friends to join him and wife Maanyata in Bangkok to party and relax. The action thriller is being directed by Anthony D’Souza and also stars Zayed Khan and Akshay Kumar.

When contacted, Sanjay Dutt told reporters: “Who told you about this? Ya, it’s true. All my close friends are here with me. Paresh is here from Chicago. Matt has come from Los Angeles and Raja and Pradeep came from Mumbai. So we’re shooting and having fun. It’s more for my own happiness than of my friends.”

Director Apoorva Lakhia, who had cast Sanjay in his successful crime-thriller “Shootout At Lokhandwala”, was all words of praise for the experience. “ Sanju is a rock star. You’ve heard right. He has rented a 40-foot catamaran with the full crew on board for all his friends’ comfort. We all hang out in the middle of the ocean while the cast is shooting in the deep sea,” said Lakhia.

“It’s non-stop deep sea diving, music, snorkeling and barbeque in the middle of the bluest ocean god ever invented. This is the most thrilling holiday I’ve ever had,” he added.

Close friend Suniel Shetty is busy shooting, or else he too would have joined the Bangkok merrymakers. “The friends that I have now are with me for keeps,” said Sanjay.

Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of a superstar named Saahil Khan in the movie Billo Barber directed by Priyadarshan.

Priyadarshan has been trying to rope in Shah Rukh Khan for various projects and Shah Rukh was busy with the IPL hungama. Finally Priyadarshan narrated the script to Shah Rukh Khan and an impressed Shah Rukh gave dates simultaneous with the IPL matches.

Billo Barber is the remake of Malayalam hit Katha Parayumbol starring Mammootty and Sreenivasan. Irfan Khan plays the title role and Shah Rukh plays a superstar called Saahil Khan. It’s inspired by the mythical friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudama but done in a completely contemporary context.

“It’s about a village and the changes that happen in it when a superstar comes to the village. What people don’t know is that there’s a very strong suspense element in the film,” said Priyadarshan.

Commenting upon Irfan, the director said: “Any big star would’ve agreed to play the title role. But I wanted someone who looked like a real villager, a hardcore barber. Irrfan has learnt how to cut hair.”

Shah Rukh Khan has roped in Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor to do cameos in the film.

Interestingly, Deepika Padukone was offered her first film by Priyadarshan but she went ahead instead with Om Shanti Om. Now she appears in a cameo in Priyadarshan’s pet project thanks to Shah Rukh Khan.

Music channel MTV is all set to make three films with the reigning stars of today - Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan.

All the three movies will be regular commercial productions to be made on a grand scale, a source at MTV revealed.

Right now, the actors signed by the channel are busy working in their respective movies. Shah Rukh is currently shooting for Yash Raj Films' Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Hrithik with home production Kites and Aamir with his much-awaited Ghajini.

Since these movies are slated for release later this year, the proposed MTV productions are likely to mount the sets next year. The channel, however, refused to elaborate on it.

MTV India's past attempt at filmmaking, however, was not encouraging. In 2006, the channel made Ghoom, a 45-minute spoof on Yash Raj Films' Dhoom, but it bombed at the box-office.

Showman Subhash Ghai's KARZ (1980) was a landmark musical extravaganza that inspired movie moghul's of all generations and this Himesh Reshammiya's acted, sung and composed KARZZZ is just one such big example of it. The expectations are colossal, opulence is munificent and the feel is rocking. Himesh Reshammiya, who has frequently catapulted in to the top of the charts during the last few years with back-to-back three dozens plus hits, makes a magnificent comeback with this grand musical offering. Musical giants T-Series had a terrific outing in Reshammiya in his acting debut AAP KA SURROR-THE MOVIEE and make it even lavish this time by offering 19 soundtracks (9 original soundtracks, 10 remixes) in a 2 CD compilation. Will these big props make another ''SURROR'' for Himesh Reshammiya and T-Series. Let's be peeping tom to find the truth!

Himesh Reshammiya picks up serene and expressive melodic connotations of ''Sufi'' soft rock ballad in epitomizing out the eternal love sentiments of this ''punarjanam'' (reincarnation) love saga in touching title track ''Lut Jaon Lut Jaon''. Reshammiya mellows down his nasal twang in synthesizing out appreciably with the textures of Harshdeep's echoing soulful vocal inputs in flows of poignant sounding composition. Like ''Tanhaiyyan'' (AAP KA SURROR), this brilliantly arranged number has penetrative shrug in its slow tempo arrangements and Sameer's finely versed lyrics sums up to make this an enchanting melody. The added dimensions of smoothening impact and rollicking dancing fervor makes full blast in its ''Club & Lounge'' remix version.

Kishore Kumar's immortal melody ''Om Shanti Om'' (KARZ (1982), a quintessentially 80's earth-moving dance pop track gets rechristened into Reshammiya's patented ''Sufi'' rock in massy ''Hari Om''. Reshammiya's energetic thump brings memories of his finest fast-paced tracks and this number has tantalizing guitar notes that form impressive hook-line for the song. It's ''Electro mix'' by Akbar Sami is one of the finest remixes heard in recent times where enticing electronic sounds and beat patterns pulsates out senses. It's variably high on audible electronically synchronized disco beat fillers that thrive out boomingly with the original composition.

''Tandoori Nights'', a resplendently hip-shaking racy number that mixes ingredients of hip-hop, ''Sufi'' rock and trance music comes out as lively ''party'' number. This scrumptiously zingy number is highly catchy in its rhythmical patterns and staggering hook-line. Reshammiya makes sparkling chemistry with the impressive Sunidhi Chauhan, where spunky electronic sounds and rave party feel ''disco-binge'' gets rapturous in senses. Akbar Sami's outrageously zooming ''club'' party burst in snazzy hip-hop delights ushers out a typical ''disco-fever'' ambience that gets high with fast tempo in its ''remix'' version.

It's time for some Afro-American rap-n-reggae (by Earl D' Souza) stylized funky mood in ''Soniye Je Tere'', an emotionally piercing number about bonds of love that is strikingly high on vocals than on funky arrangements. Reshammiya tries to mix the madness of tracks like ''Gela Gela'' (AITRAAZ) and couple of his sentimental number in evoking romantic hues and vibes. Tulsi Kumar makes noteworthy additions in brief rendition and it props up as another audible situational love song. ''Soniye Je Tere (club and lounge mix)'' tries to mix and mood of ''club'' and ''lounge'' by varying between pitches, tempo and sound impacts in its thriving disco flows.

''Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki'', a mellowed and soul-enchanting melody by Himesh Reshammiya justifies to Rafi saab’s lovable brilliant effort in ''Dard-e-Dil'' (KARZ(1980)) and comes out impressively with all together different composition and arrangements. It's delightful to hear that traditional Indian instruments (tabla, sitar, harmonium and sarangi) getting mellifluously amalgamated with westernized beat patterns. Sameer's sensitively verbatim in ''antaras'' are worth-hearing and it's by far his finest effort by him in the album. It's ''club and lounge mix'' comes as party song where this decent sounding composition gets burdened by energized electronic disco beat fillers.

Himesh Reshammiya makes impressive gesticulation of ''Panchamda'' style of music in a frenzy rap-n-reggae flows to create an engrossing rendezvous for dancing floors in highly pulsating ''Sisak Sisak Ke''. Reshammiya's full throttle rendition and Sameer's free-flowing lyrics are at their fiery blast in a composition that reminds of flashy 80's disco era. It makes hullabaloo of blazing electronic sounds and peppy rap inputs and is likely to be big asset in appreciating album takers among pop genre. ''Sisak Sisak Ke (club & lounge mix)'' by Akbar Sami makes effective use of saxophone in a loud, thumping and energized ''disco'' beat culture music that has been trademark in all Reshammiya's successful remix numbers.

After inspiring ''Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki'', Himesh Reshammiya takes sedate and somber plunge by getting into ''ghazal-gayaki'' mood in lovable textures of classical Indian music in soothing ''Tere Bin Chain Na Aaave''. Tulsi Kumar makes affable improvisation in ushering out feminine sentiments in a track that completely belongs to Reshammiya's modulating baritones in varying pitches. The noteworthy aspect of it is its modest but remarkable traditional Indian musical flows that mellow impressively with booming vocals. It's ''Club & Lounge remix comes out as another ''party-feasting'' delight that goes all blast in making mood merrier on floors.

''Masha Allah'', a booming Sufi soft rock ballad has shades from Reshammiya's ''Allah Kare'', sounding reminiscent to the subjective feel of ''Dard-e-dil'' (KARZ (1980)) comes out as a song of adulation. The feel for this romantically impulsive track is situational where the arrangements sound routine and its one track that works with the needs and situation of the film. The ''Club & Lounge Remix'' version gives it a booming impulse but the disco-beat arrangements sounds like routine ''club'' stylized works.

Last year, it was ''Dastaan-e-Om Shanti Om'' taking inspiration lift from ''Ek Haseena Thi'' (KARZ (1980)) but now this melodramatically showy number gets courteously lifted with similar lyrics, composition but with different arrangements in the concluding track ''Ek Haseena Thi''. The serpentine guitar signature tune from the original version comes as its highpoint where Reshammiya along with Shreya Ghoshal makes optimum use of their singing potentials. It's ostentatiously melodramatic feel in ''Club & Lounge Remix'' version comes out as relevantly positive promotional feature element that is likely to be adding vows to the album's prospects.

KARZZZ marks the sensational comeback of Sufi mafia Himesh Reshammiya back in the marquee with an album that guarantees melody cum entertainment in its lavish packaging. The album promises larger shelf life and has its spotlights in tracks like ''Lut Jaon'', ''Tandoori Nights'', ''Dhoom Teri Ishq Ki'', ''Hari Om'' and ''Sisak Ke'' and all of them are likely to be making big presence in charts. KARZZZ will be filling out the space for next big album and will be a potential competitor to super-hit albums like ROCK ON and SINGH IS KINNG on stands.

The reel life DRONA, the saviour, Abhishek Bachchan turned real life DRONA!!

Before you get bewildered with the above statement let us clear that it's about a laudable incident which we are talking about where Abhishek actually played a true hero in real life. Apparently Abhishek at their 'Unforgettable World Tour' trip came across a heroic incident.

It so happened that when the Bachchans along with the other stars arrived in Toronto they were crowded with people. People were pouncing on each other to get a glimpse of the Bachchans. There was a huge stampede and chaos around so much so that a small kid was caught in the middle of it. When Abhishek saw this he immediately rushed towards the kid to rescue her, who got separated from her parents in the mad dash. He took the kid backstage and made an announcement asking for the kid's parents.

Abhi could successfully handover the child to her parents and felt much relieved after that. The teary-eyed parents kept on thanking the saviour. Though the show got delayed because of this incident but for Abhi helping the child get her parents was of much importance.

With this incident we can say that he truly deserves the title 'DRONA - THE SAVIOUR' which means a Hero.

It's going to be a spine-chilling winter!!!

While the mystery is continuing in production and on celluloid, there is one major clue that has been solved. Yes, the date for the theatrical release of the next blockbuster thriller from Bollywood, RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES is now no more a secret. This spine chilling movie from Vishesh Films is going to hit worldwide screens on 23rd January 2009. This is the most anticipated release of 2009, with absolutely no other film to match up to its theme and style. It's definitely going to be a chilly winter that will keep you shuddering!!

RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES is being directed by Mohit Suri and stars Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman.

''It is definitely thrilling to be ready to present Vishesh Films' next film to the world,'' says Mukesh Bhatt, ''RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES has been much talked about and long awaited by everyone, so here it is! Get ready to be spooked!'' Though only very few people are aware of the exact story of RAAZ- THE MYSTERY CONTINUES it is believed to be a supernatural thriller dealing with the myths and superstitions that are still widely existent in the contemporary Indian society. The film will tend to challenge one's beliefs about paranormal phenomena.

The blockbuster music of Vishesh Films' JANNAT - which is still ruling the charts - was released on Sony BMG. RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES takes this association a step forward with Sony BMG. Contrary to popular belief, RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES is not a sequel to the musical blockbuster RAAZ - which is one of the biggest musical blockbusters of all time and the only blockbuster musical thriller of this decade!! It is an industry claim that Vishesh Films is amongst the very few that can create and carry off a film in the thriller genre, on par with stylized film making. So RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES has many people awaiting a watch!

According to insiders, the entire shoot for RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES is complete. Post-production, which involves exceptional special effects is now in the process. Another scoop from insiders is that the music of RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES is a notch above JANNAT!! Though most are skeptical on how this is possible, the select few who have heard the music simply vouch for the fact that Raju Singh and other composers have done a fantastic job!!

Shridhar Subramaniam, Managing Director Sony BMG says, ''We have had a very successful association with the Bhatts for JANNAT. The music of this film has ruled the charts and continues to be a hot favourite. I'm very certain that RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES is also set to be a tremendous sensation and a great experience. We're all looking forward to this release.''

Looks like Sony BMG and Vishesh Films are ready to create more records across charts!!
